CareerSource Escarosa to host free Florida DEO seminar for area employers

 

PENSACOLA, Fla. (Oct. 20, 2014) – Officials from the Department of Economic Opportunity will be in Pensacola  Thursday, Nov. 6, at 1:30 p.m. to host a free seminar for area employers at the CareerSource Escarosa Pensacola One-Stop Center located at 3670 North L Street in Pensacola.

 

The one-house “Reemployment Assistance Appeals” Seminar will be held at 1:30 p.m. DEO officials will host the one-hour seminar to assist local employers with the Reemployment Assistance appeals process. The program will specifically benefit hiring managers and human resources professionals who manage Reemployment Assistance claims for their business.

 

Program presenters include DEO Reemployment Assistance Appeals Manager, Magnus Hines and the honorable Frank E. Brown, Chairman, Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission. The program will include a general overview of the appeals process, as well as a question and answer period.

 

There is no charge to attend. Reservations must be made in advance by calling (850) 607-8752.
