The presentation will benefit HR managers and their companies by providing a refresher and overview of:

1.      The Dept. of Labor regulations that went into effect in 2012 and the reporting requirements of it.  What is the current retirement plan landscape, what are the fiduciary responsibilities of a trustee for such a plan, and what are courageous/best practices?

2.      A survey of qualified retirement plans, to include IRA, SEP, SIMPLE, 401(k), Profit Sharing, ESOP, etc.  What are the characteristics and advantages/disadvantages of each?  Exploration of the Pension Protection Act of 2006 and the provisions as they pertain to plan providers.
