  • a.       This presentation will provide an overview to Executive Coaching & Development Programs (ECDP) in the workplace.  The speaker will review the background of such services, common assessment tools and their use in the career and leadership development goals for the person, and recommendations as to evaluating present services or how to implement such services within the organization.

C.    Objective

a. The participant will understand the historical context of professional Coaching in today’s organization, with a focus on integrating the key concepts into specialized, tailored Executive Coaching services for the beginning and middle stage, as well as, the seasoned manager.


Tom Murphy, MS, LMHC, CEAP, NCC, BCC is President, of Spenser and Associates, Inc., a FL based company providing training, consultation and executive, personal and organizational coaching. Mr. Murphy conducts consultation and training internationally, to both the public and private sector. His experience includes the leadership of county, state, and national programs for employees across many professions. He has extensive experience in the development of early, mid-level and senior leadership in federal agencies, social service and health care organizations, He specializes in resiliency and career re-engagement assessment, training and coaching for employees, leaders, and their families.

He is a member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA, Chesapeake Chapter, MD (Former President, Treasurer), Institute of Professional Coaching, and the Society for Human Resource Management, Greater Pensacola (FL) Chapter.
