FMLA Update
Our February meeting will be held at New World Landing on Wednesday, February 11th from 11:30 am – 1 pm. Our speaker will be Russell Van Sickle of Beggs and Lane. Russell is a local employment law attorney who is a popular speaker at our Legal Conference and we are excited to add him as a monthly luncheon speaker this year as well! Russ will be speaking on the recent changes to FMLA, which we all know can be difficult to interpret. You won’t want to miss this important legislative update!Please RSVP by clicking the RSVP link by Friday, February 6, 2009. It is very important to RSVP, even if you have pre-paid (or plan on pre-paying) for the year so we can give an accurate count to New World Landing. Beginning in February, the cost for lunch is $15 for GPSHRM members and $25* for guests. *If a guest joins the chapter within 30 days, we will give the $10 difference back as a credit on their dues!
